A Remote Online Notary (RON) is a notary public who performs notarizations using audio-visual technology, allowing you to complete the process online from anywhere, without being physically present in front of the notary.
-
To use RON services, you must schedule an appointment with QPD Notary, upload your documents, and join a secure video conference with the notary. The notary will verify your identity and witness your signature remotely, completing the notarization electronically.
-
To use RON services, you’ll need:
A stable internet connection
A device with a camera and microphone (computer, tablet, or smartphone)
A valid government-issued photo ID (passport, driver’s license, etc.)
Access to the internet to upload and receive documents
A webcam and microphone for the video session
